We’ve had an unbelievable reception to our platform in 2025. Every single demo we have given has been overwhelmingly positive. And trust me when I say, I’m the kind of person who’d win a soccer match 6‑0 and keep quiet, because next week we might not win and so what’s the point in talking about it? In my head, I can hear Roy Keane barking, “That’s your job!” So, believe me when I say this: the product we’ve built for our customers is nothing short of incredible.
Needless to say, the company—and our product in particular—is something I’m deeply proud of. As the technical founder, I bring decades of experience architecting scalable enterprise solutions across pharma, banking, sport brands, and lots more. I’m proud of this product because it stands out among the many years I’ve been in the SaaS world.
Time for my rant…
I despise things that don’t work the first time. I dislike anything that isn’t instinctively simple to use. I don’t care if it’s GxP and everyone else has convinced themselves it must be convoluted—if I can’t grasp a platform in a few minutes, I get frustrated. I’m generally a patient person, but I have zero tolerance for wasted time.
I work 60+ hours a week. I’ve got an incredible wife, two amazing kids, and very cute Westie named Muck. If your platform takes time away from me and my family—or demands a paid implementation team just to set it up because it’s too hard to use—it’s not acceptable in my opinion.
End rant.
When we kicked off Valkit.ai, the first thing I did was partner with Steve, the CPO, to empty his head of every user story, every pain point, every insight, and every nugget of IP. At first, we talked about having a look at the existing digital-validation tools so we could understand the landscape, and build on it. But upon realizing what was out there, we actually landed on a different message to the team: “Stay as far away as possible from current digital validation tools. We’ve got an opportunity here to think differently.”
My team has worked with SaaS companies valued at billions of dollars. Those companies have poured endless amounts of money into making products that customers love. Knowing what it takes to create deep customer satisfaction is something that’s become ingrained in how we work, and who we are as professionals. These are all learnings that we have brought into Valkit.ai: modern SaaS simplicity, intuitive workflows, and delightful UI.
I wanted to reimagine what a digital-validation system could look and work like. It’s true, the workflows are complicated—building Valkit.ai was brutally challenging. But every complexity was an invitation to innovate. We flipped those hard processes on their heads and asked: “What is the simplest possible way a user could use our platform to solve each task?”
The hardest thing in software is to make something simple. Something that just makes sense the first time you use it. We’ve invested hundreds of hours solving the difficult problems upfront so our users can breeze through the platform without a second thought. No extra training to get started. No custom implementation to just use the platform. Instead, it’s just the right approach in the right place, letting you focus on your job.
And even though we believe we’ve stuck the landing, we never stop asking ourselves how to improve. We love hearing from our customers to make sure we’re taking in every perspective to get it right. We had our new validated release last week and the features we rolled out were completely customer led. We don’t build things for the sake of building them because we want them. We build it because our customers get value out of it. Our customers are our most important asset. And providing them with value is what’s most important for us.
We’re honored to be the platform that brings a simple, elegant approach to validation. Thank you for trusting us. We won’t disappoint.
